On a thumb. Went to the dermatologist. The PA insisted I needed surgery, severe and deep. I freaked--at that thought, a scar as well I didn't want the pain (more than one treatment) and had a major B&N book signing coming up. Within one week, I used ACV topically several times per day on the wart... Gone, gone, gone. I even called the doc to share. P.S. Later, got a wart on the bottom of my foot. Never go barefoot around public pools. Anyhow, same treatment but it did take longer, a few weeks...and it did smart a bit...but much more gentle than a doc's treatment and on the cheap.
